DISNEYLAND

Amusement Park Disneyland Resort is located in the Marne Valley in Paris and it actually contains 2 parks Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. Cairo Tower

The Cairo Tower is a  TV tower located in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It is situated in the Zamated district on Gezira Island, in the center of the city.

Standing only at 187 metres high, this tower it is the tallest structure from all over the world which has no steel columns.

The Cairo Tower’s construction has begun in 1956 and was finished in 1961, for the reason to convince the world that the nation could even construct the Aswan Dam.

To finish this work, there were needed around 500 workers. The Cairo Tower is crowned by a great restaurant you should also see it while visiting the tower. The diameter of this tower is about 14 meters, made up of eight millions mosaic lozenges.

From here, you will have one of the best views from Cairo. People say that the tower is imitating a lotus plant. Its structure is made by granite, a kind of material used by the ancient Egyptians. This construction has 45 m more than the Great Pyramid at Giza.

The Cairo Tower is opened to the public and tourists each day beginning with 9:00 a.m until 1:00 a.m.

The Military Museum

The Military Museum is situated in Cairo, the capital of Egypt and it has several collections of weapons and costumes since the ancient times. Impressive are the artifacts inside of the museum dating since 1956, when the Anglo-French-Israeli attack took place.

This Military Museum was founded in 1937 and today contains the old building of ministry of defense from Cairo. It was also renovated 3 times in 1982,1988 and the last time in 1993. This is the best tourist attraction you could ever visit there.

Mostly, the museum is very renowned due to its rich collection of historical artifacts existing since the reign of Mohamed Ali, the man who founded the royal family from Egypt.
This building has 3 wings and 3 storeys, each of them has many different halls. Besides the artifacts mentioned above, there are even around 220 paintings ilustrating old famous battles.

The Military Museum is believed to be a great celebration and glorification of the Egyptian history. It is a place where with family you can ever find a bit of fun, a way to enjoy this new sight.

Great Pyramid of Gizeh

Great Pyramid is located in the city of Gizeh, the ancient necropolis of Memphis. It is the oldest and the only one that has survived time. Great Pyramid of Gizeh was the highest building in the world.

It had begun to 146 m high, and today has 138 m. It was built by the pharaoh Khufu of the Fourth dynasty to serve as the tomb. Was washed with granite plates.
As Herodotus says, construction has lasted over 20 years, 100,000 working people. First, place was prepared for the location and were transported blocks of stone. On the north side is the entrance in pyramid, mortuary room is located in the heart of the pyramid.

Pharaoh sarcophagus is red granite and the interior walls of the room. For years were discovered three or four rooms near funeral chamber, one being the royal ship, which is alleged to have been worn Khutu’s body in his last journey, in the others room are the vaults and Mummy pharaoh which has been hidden in order not to be stolen.

Today, the pyramid is included with the other pyramids in the tourist region of Gizeh plateau.
